Questions
Straight answers before you book.
What is a free Energy Assessment?
It starts with a call. We review your power bill and any existing solar, then book a home visit if it suits. You finish with a tailored recommendation for your property, with no obligation to proceed.
Does a battery make my home off-grid?
Not on its own. A battery stores spare solar for later use. Whether your home can run during an outage, or operate fully off-grid, depends on the inverter, battery and wiring installed. We explain the options in your assessment.
Can I add a battery to my existing solar?
Often, yes. It depends on your current inverter, system size and how you use power. We check this during your Energy Assessment and tell you plainly if a battery is not the best next step.
Which states does Nexa Solar install in?
We install in Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and Tasmania. Networks, export rules and incentives differ by state, so we design and quote around where your property is.
What size solar system do I need?
It depends on your usage, roof space, phase of power and plans such as air conditioning, a pool or an EV. Popular sizes include 6.66kW, 10.36kW and 13.32kW, and your assessment confirms which suits you.
